Whole-Home Remodeling in St. Petersburg, FL
A full home remodel is different from remodeling a single room — it means coordinating structural, electrical, and plumbing work across the house at once, often while updating a floor plan that was built decades before open-concept living was standard. Many St. Petersburg homes, especially in Old Northeast and Kenwood, were built in the 1920s–1950s, which means a full remodel typically also involves bringing wiring and plumbing up to current code, not just cosmetic updates.
Our whole-home remodeling services include:
- Room additions and floor plan expansions
- Structural and layout changes (opening walls, reconfiguring rooms)
- Full interior and exterior finish updates
- Flooring, painting, and fixture replacement throughout
How a Whole-Home Remodel Works
- Free Consultation — We assess your home's age, existing systems, and your goals before scoping the project.
- Design and Permitting — Multi-room projects often require permits for structural, electrical, and plumbing work filed together, not separately.
- Phased Construction — For occupied homes, we sequence work room-by-room to keep part of the house livable during the project.
- Final Walkthrough — A full inspection and walkthrough before we consider the project complete.

Frequently Asked Questions About Whole-Home Remodeling in St. Petersburg, FL
How long does a full home remodel take in St. Petersburg?
Most whole-home remodels take 4 to 8 months depending on scope, permitting timelines, and whether structural work is involved.
Do older St. Petersburg homes need electrical or plumbing upgrades during a remodel?
Often, yes. Homes built before the 1960s in neighborhoods like Old Northeast and Kenwood commonly need updated wiring or plumbing to meet current code once walls are opened for renovation.
Can I stay in my home during a full remodel?
In many cases, yes — we can phase construction to keep part of the home livable, though this depends on the scope and which systems are affected.
